Spitzschuh Maschinenbau GmbH has been a specialist in thread manufacturing and CNC contract manufacturing for over 40 years. Despite the corona crisis, the family-owned company has invested in the future with its own PV system and e-cars for employees. The company currently has 15 employees, including one apprentice.
In our efforts to operate as a future-oriented company, we have taken a decisive step towards sustainability: installing a photovoltaic system on our company roof. This investment in renewable energy is not only a sign of our commitment to environmental protection, but also brings significant benefits.
By using solar energy, we reduce our energy costs in the long term. This is an important aspect, particularly at a time when energy prices are rising worldwide. With this measure, we are also improving our corporate image. Our customers and business partners appreciate the fact that we take responsibility for the environment and actively contribute to climate protection.
Another significant advantage is the reduction of our CO2 footprint. With the photovoltaic system, we are reducing greenhouse gas emissions and thus making a contribution to global environmental protection. In addition, in-house energy production ensures greater independence and security of supply.
We are proud to have taken this step towards a more sustainable future and look forward to sharing our experiences in this area with our partners and customers.
The photovoltaic system with an output of 114 kWp has been in operation since mid-August 2020. The net costs for the purchase amounted to 127,000 euros.
Spitzschuh offers discounted lunch every day, and there is also a flexitime model, a fitness room and a bonus system in the form of an electric car.
